MuleMind Therapy is a private practice located in Eugene, Oregon, established by Dr. Gina Sprague-Connors, Licensed Psychologist. MuleMind Therapy provides evidenced based mental health care and integrates equines into therapy.
A modern-hybrid approach
MuleMind Therapy incorporates a hybrid approach to mental health treatment. Dr. Sprague-Connors has committed her career to implementing technology into mental health treatment. Clients will be seen through both telehealth and in-person modalities.
Our rates
-All rates are private pay at this time, sliding scale based on income is accepted, payment is due at time of scheduling. MuleMind Therapy charges for no-show and late cancellation fees.
Therapy
Online or in-person, this is designated for individuals, couple’s, and groups to process and explore their thoughts, emotions and behaviors. Typically, meetings are weekly or bi-weekly. Treatment planning is collaborative and is developed for episodes of care within a specific time frame.
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy & Psychoeducation
In-person or online if you have an equine you would like to integrate into your treatment, this time will be spent understanding yourself. Incorporating equines can provide an awareness into individual internal experiences of: sensations, emotions and behaviors that impact you in your life and in your relationships with others.
Suicide Bereavement
Online or in-person, group/individual interventions available, experiencing death by suicide is a type of loss that is oftentimes stigmatized, can increase risk for suicide and suicide related behaviors and thoughts. This treatment approach will involve processing grief and loss, addressing trauma related symptoms, and expanding post-traumatic growth strategies for integrating this loss into your life.
Mindfulness
Online or in-person, mindfulness: being in the here/now; being intentional in your experience; in a non-judgmental way is a type of meditation that has been a part of Eastern medicine for many centuries. In Western medicine we are seeing an expansion and integration of eastern interventions to help support physical and mental health.
